- We were married August 2, 2003 and both graduated from BYU in 2004. We moved to Las Vegas where Alan works for Rafael Stone as a Business Development Manager and Megan is a photographer. We have a three year old son, Mason, and 1 year old daughter, Shay.

Hey Megan-
On my photo's, I just use all natural light and use photoshop for editing. Do you have photoshop? On my color photo's I usually add a screen layer, soft light layer, adjust the curves, adjust the color, and unsharp mask. For b/w I might add a slight screen layer if the picture seems dark, change mode to grayscale, add soft light layer or two, adjust curves, hit ctrl U and colorize 30/8/0, unsharp mask. Each picture is different and there are a bunch of other techniques I use but those are just basic, I am definitely no professional, those are just techniques I learned messing around.
