Baby Bedding
Does anyone else have the most productive days when they don't even get out of their P.J.'s? My apologies to my bug man, Dean, who came by first thing this morning and I was in my P.J.'s and he had to tour our disaster zone. Yesterday and today I have been busy sewing this baby bedding including a quilt, crib skirt, sheet, and bumpers for both the port-a-crib and regular crib. I was so excited how they turned out. I hope it is girly enough for a girl. I chose these colors because eventually I want to put Mason and the baby in the same room. I thought red, brown, teal, and green could go for boy or girl. Anyways, just thought you might want a peek at my latest project.

I am sooo impressed Megan!!! I love the colors. Super cute!
It turned out great...did you use a pattern or just your natural talents?
I didn't use a pattern. I just measured my crib and portacrib and made my best guess. The hardest part was figuring out how much fabric to buy of each print and then cutting it all. I really do not claim to be anywhere near an expert seamstress. I just know the basics and am daring enough to give it a try.
That is amazing!! Wow, you are super talented!
That is super cute!! I would love to be able to sew but I have tried and lets just say its not for me but that is awesome! I am way jealous!!
It's beautiful!!! You are so talented.
can i just have an ounce of your domestic skills please? i have basic sewing skills but i dont think i would ever attempt a project like that unless i had my mom to help me. :) very cute. great color choices too. :)
You are awesome! I wish I could be that motivated again! I made everything for Rilee's room but each kid after has had less made for them(Rowyn has had nothing made for her room)! It looks really cute! I love the colors. You are amazing!
I love it Meg. Exactly the colors I would've chosen-- I think they're perfect for a girl. Wow, that quilt looks so good. When I have a kid, I need to come have a sewing lesson week.

WOW Megan you are amazing! I might need your expertise soon- I bought twin sheets and need to make crib sheets out of them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated- especially because I have no talent in this area!!
so cute. i am so impressed but not surprised. i'm mostly impressed that you made one for your portacrib. man, you are hard core. good for you.
DARLING!! I do wish i could be more domestic! I can't sew a pot holder without making a mistake! I LOVE it...you have an eye for good colors!
