Suprise!!
What a fun SURPRISE after my regular doctor appointment, I went down to the Bellagio with 3 other girls from my ward to a medical convention that was going on. They were asking for pregnant women who were 11-13 weeks along to come demonstrate a new ultrasound technique for physicians to practice on. They also said they would pay each participant $150 so a few pregnant girls in my ward decided to go and see what it was all about. We got there and there was two beds and two ultrasound machines. They did ultrasounds on each of us for like 15-20 minutes. We got to lie there and just watch our baby's on the screen. It was so much fun. They printed us a few pictures each. The icing on the cake was when they asked me if I wanted to find out the sex of my baby. This was totally unexpected being the I just had an ultrasound at my doctors this morning and they didn't mention anything about seeing the sex of my baby. Of course I replied "YES!" and they told me I was having a little baby GIRL!!! I was totally shocked and very excited! They said they were 98% sure so I guess I can start planning. I called Alan to give him the good news. He was very excited as well. Here are some more pictures of our baby.

Yea!!!! Yep, I can tell that's a girl :) She looks pretty already! I am so excited to have a niece... Baby Elle... just kidding, I'll let you name her, I guess!!! But if the 2% turns out true, then I am up for another boy too. That's the cutest and skinniest little wrist and hand!

Awesome Meg! That is so fun! I can't believe they could tell that soon...sweet! I would go shopping with you but i am having a surprise so i would have to buy boy and girl clothes and i just don't have that kind of cash! :)

wow meg thats awesome!!! my sister-in-law was told it was a girl with a percentage rate like that...but later they changed their mind. my father-in-law said he must have had a tiny pickle :) i hope i have a girl next too!!! but boys are great as we both know.

That is sooo cool you could find out already! Nothing is better than getting money from an ultrasound than having to fork it over to get one! I swear I know that girl in the pink next to you. I think she was in my USU married ward. Gosh its a small world.

Hooray...a little girl. They are so great! We just found out we are having a boy...so I need to do little boy shopping!!
Girls are too much fun! But of course I don't know any better. Fun clothes, headbands, PINK! I know you'll go all out and it'll be so fun to watch!
